The HOPE Revolution
is about to get started.
In a political climate of fear, threatening and intimidation, the antidote is HOPE.
We can’t win if we are in fear. Fear keeps us small.
It overwhelms us, exhausts us, and convinces us to turn away, to shut off the news, retreat to the couch, and believe there’s nothing we can do.
That is exactly how we lose.
HOPE is how we rise. (A certain former president proved this model works.)
HOPE is not passive optimism.
HOPE is collective power.
When we move from fear to HOPE, we remember this:
”The power of the people is always greater than the people in power.” - Cory Booker
Right now, millions of us are on the same side—but scattered, invisible, and divided into thousands of separate efforts. If someone was to ask you what the opposite of MAGA was, what would you say? Let’s create it to be HOPE!
We wear HOPE. We build power through joining communities together. We talk about how we are winning.
Alone, we are strong. Together, we are unstoppable.
Historically it takes 3.5% of the population of a country protesting to ensure serious change. 3.5% of our population is 12 million people. We need to bring those communities under a common umbrella.
The HOPE Revolution is how we unite.
Here’s what we do:
1. Join together.
We bring millions of people under one shared identity - HOPE - so we become a visible force capable of changing the world.
2. Grow the POWER of HOPE through communities.
We build connection locally and nationally—through conversation, culture, creativity, and everyday courage.
3. We make it about us, not them.
We tell our stories. We stop amplifying fear. We change the narrative.
We talk about us winning.
We begin by sharing HOPE with ten people.
We wear it. We sing it. We post it. We talk about how we are winning.
We make HOPE visible, audible, and impossible to ignore.
And yes, all of this is possible from your couch. It’s even better if you are in the streets with your people.
This is how democracy is protected.
This is how culture shifts.
This is how the future is claimed.
Stand with us.
Be visible.
Be hopeful.
Join the HOPE Revolution.
What will signing up do? Why does it matter?
It is only by creating a movement large enough they can’t stop it that we will have the power to change the narrative. Erica Chenoweth, a political scientist at Harvard University, has created the “3.5% rule”—the idea that no government can withstand a challenge of 3.5% of its population. We want 12+ million people to join!
By joining together individuals, families, groups, and communities, we can show that we have the numbers to win. We are already on the same side. Let’s just stand together and be counted. Let’s join the millions of us together with the power to change the tide.
Together, we will win.
